With breakout rooms in Microsoft Teams, participants can gather in smaller groups for conversations and brainstorming sessions.
⇒ NOTE: Only meeting organizers on the desktop version of Teams can create and manage breakout rooms. Organizers and presenters must first join the meeting to create or manage breakout rooms.
Information:
Important: Meetings of more than 300 people are not able to use breakout rooms. Likewise, if you create breakout rooms before a meeting, you won't be able to invite more than 300 people. Automatically assign participants to a room when a breakout room is created. If you'd like to move people around later in the meeting, you will need to do so manually.
