SharePoint - Confluence - SharePoint Page - Site Page (Dynamic Page)

Description:

How to transfer pages from Confluence to a SharePoint 'Site Page'

A Site Page allows users to input content such as lists, calendars, embedded Youtube videos, use the 'Documents' widget for quick or specific access and more.  

Note: Images do not copy/paste. They need to be saved from confluence (right click 'Save Image As'), then inserted into the Page

Instructions:

You will need an appropriate Team in Microsoft Teams set up before migrating a Confluence page. If you need to request a new Team, click the Submit Request button

  1. Sign into Confluence
  2. Locate the page you want to migrate
  3. Highlight all the material you wish to transfer. 
  4. Right click and copy, or use Ctrl+C
    copy
  5.  Log into SharePoint
    • Access from your Email:
      • Click the Waffle 
      • Click SharePoint
  6. Open the appropriate Team for the document
  7. Click Pages
    pages
  8. Click New
  9. Click Site Page 
  10. Enter a title for the page. 
  11. Hover your mouse under the Title section and click the + icon to add new content
  12. For Confluence migration, Text box should work fine.
  13. Right click in the text box and paste 
  14. Click Save as draft
  15. Review and edit your page
    1. Images need to be saved from confluence (right click 'Save Image As', then inserted into the Page

  16.  Click Publish when you are ready for members of your Team (or who you share it to) to view.

Your page is now in SharePoint!
