How to transfer pages from Confluence to a SharePoint 'Site Page'
A Site Page allows users to input content such as lists, calendars, embedded Youtube videos, use the 'Documents' widget for quick or specific access and more.
Note: Images do not copy/paste. They need to be saved from confluence (right click 'Save Image As'), then inserted into the Page
Instructions:
You will need an appropriate Team in Microsoft Teams set up before migrating a Confluence page. If you need to request a new Team, click the Submit Request button
- Sign into Confluence
- Locate the page you want to migrate
- Highlight all the material you wish to transfer.
- Right click and copy, or use Ctrl+C
- Log into SharePoint
- Access from your Email:
- Click the Waffle
- Click SharePoint
- Open the appropriate Team for the document
- Click Pages
- Click New
- Click Site Page
- Enter a title for the page.
- Hover your mouse under the Title section and click the + icon to add new content
- For Confluence migration, Text box should work fine.
- Right click in the text box and paste
- Click Save as draft
- Review and edit your page
- Images need to be saved from confluence (right click 'Save Image As', then inserted into the Page

- Click Publish when you are ready for members of your Team (or who you share it to) to view.
Your page is now in SharePoint!
