Description:
With Microsoft Teams, there is not a direct 1-to-1 replacement for a Zoom Room. Instead, Teams offers several ways to quickly connect and collaborate.
For most interactions, you do not need a personal meeting link. You can start an audio or video call directly with another person using their name or email address, making it easy to connect right away.
For more information about starting an impromptu meeting, see:
Teams - Meet - Create an impromptu meeting
If you prefer to share a personal meeting link, Teams does provide the option below.
Please note:
• Personal meeting links expire after 60 days.
• You will not receive a notification if someone joins your personal meeting link.
• To use the personal meeting, you will need to go to your link directly to join.
For most day-to-day meetings and quick conversations, direct calls and impromptu meetings provide the simplest and most effective experience in Teams.
