File Shares


Network file storage (File Shares) allows users to store and share files with other campus users (who have the correct permissions) while on the campus network. Documents stored using these services will remain available if a users computer breaks because the documents are stored on our servers.

Common Issues:

  • I can't access my share drive
  • I'm missing files or folders
  • I don't see my file share drive
  • Reports are not populating in the reports drive

Common Requests:

  • A user needs to be added or removed from a share drive. Only supervisors or owners of the shared drive are able to request access changes for users. 
  • I need a new network share created
  • We need the storage limit increased on a drive or I'm receiving an error 
  • Archive an unused drive
