Teams - Sending a Message

Description:

Microsoft Teams is a great way to communicate with others.  Here is how to send a message directly to a user.

Instructions:

  1. Click the 'Chat' icon toward the left edge of teams
  2. Click on the 'New Chat' icon on the top-right edge of the chat pane

  1. Start typing the recipient's name into the 'To' section.  Then click on the correct user
  2. Type your message into the text box towards the bottom and press enter on your keyboard or click the send arrow
