Description:
*Note* Transcription and captions are not the same thing!
During a Teams meeting, you can start live transcription to capture everything being said. The transcription appears in real time and includes each speaker's name and time stamp. A transcript is saved for later viewing.
Live captions are the text that appears on your screen when someone in the meeting is speaking. They are not saved after the meeting, but allow for a better in meeting experience for a variety of participants.
