Description:
If an employee moves to a new location on campus. a Move Request is required to ensure the employee's technology is set up properly and their information is updated in the appropriate systems. This is true even if moving within the same office or suite.
⇒ Due to other staff responsibilities, there will be no office moves completed 2 weeks before through 1 week after a semester start.
An Office Move Request is used to:
- Physically move computer and telephone equipment. Users should not complete physical equipment moves.
- Change or move telephone extension, if applicable.
- Update the user account in Active Directory, reflected in the contact and organizational information in email and Microsoft Teams.
- Update contact information in the Online Directory.
- Send key request to University Police, if needed.
