The Callas Center team is here to help with the campus online learning platform(s), educational technology tools, and online/hybrid course design. The purpose of the Callas Center is to partner with faculty and staff as they integrate technology into their educational programs to optimize student learning. The Callas Center provides training development opportunities, issue resolution, and collaborates with various stakeholders.
Common Issues:
- I need help hiding or showing a course, or setting to active or inactive
- I can't find my course
- I'm not able to see my grades
- Gradebook has miscalculations, I can't access gradebook, or I'm getting in error in gradebook
- An Online Delhi (Brightspace/D2L) course that was converted from Vancko Hall( Moodle) is not working properly or is missing pieces
- My assignment won't upload or submit.
- I'm having trouble inserting images or formatting text
- Building or setting up a course and I'm having trouble with activities and resources, an activity type or types, or groups
Common Requests:
- I need a sandbox, design, or nonBanner training page manually created
- I want to update or change the name of a manually made course. This is surface level only, all background and reporting data will retain original name.
- I would like to use a new 3rd part tool in my course
- I need to retrieve an archived Vancko Hall (Moodle) course
- I have individual users that need to be manually added to a course
- I need specific Online Delhi (Brightspace/D2L) logs, access, or data pulled
- I want to wipe out or delete all contents within a Online Delhi (Brightspace/D2L) course. This is a permanent action!
- I'd like training on gradebook, accessibility, current 3rd party tools, course design, or Online Delhi (Brightspace/D2L)
