MFA - Token Setup - New User

Description:

Overview of the process for users setting up authentication methods for the first time and using a Hardware Token as the default MFA method. This process assumes the token’s info has been uploaded to Entra ID by campus CIS staff.

Information:

  1. Navigate to Webmail or Bronco Web
  2. Log in using your Delhi Single Sign On (SSO) email and password.
  3. Click Next on the "Let's keep your account secure" prompt

  4. Click on I want to setup a different method
  5. Click on Hardware Token
  6. Enter serial number from back of the token, click Next

  7. Name the token, click Next

  8. Tap power button on token
  9. Enter number that appears, and click Next

  10. Set up your second MFA method.
    1. Default is Phone and Receive a code.
    2. Select "I want to set up a different method" for alternate options, including Microsoft Authenticator App
  11. Follow the prompts for your selected second method.
  12. Click Done on the success page.
  13. For first time log in, you should be redirected to change your password.
  14. Complete the fields and click Sign in
