Jabber - How to Use

This page will help you understand the functionality of Jabber and how to use the application

Instructions:

To Place a Call

  1. Next to the magnify glass - Enter the 4 digit extension or enter 8+1+phone number 
  2. Press Enter or Press green Call button
    enter number, shows green button
     

To Answer/Decline a Call

  1. In the corner of your screen, select the option you want

Placing a Call on Hold

  1. Click the Chats bubble on left
  2. Click the Call in progress

  3. In the call menu, click the three dots button
  4. Click Hold

Transfer a Call

  1. Follow steps 1-3 for Hold above
  2. Click Transfer
  3. Enter the extension 
  4. Click Phone button
  5. When it rings on the other end
    1. Click Transfer to just send it to the number
    2. Or wait and when the party answers, announce the call and then click Transfer
