Jabber - How to Use

This page will help you understand the functionality of Jabber and how to use the application

Instructions:

To Place a Call

1. Enter the 4 digit extension, or enter 81+phone number to dial an outside line (the same as your on-campus phone), then press the green call button or press enter

To Answer/Decline a Call

1. In the bottom-left hand corner of your screen, select the option you want

Placing a Call on Hold

1. On the call menu, click the button with the three dots
2. Select 'Hold'

Forward a Call

1. On the call menu, click the button with the three dots
2. Select the 'Transfer' option
3. In the space provided, enter the extension you wish to forward the call to and hit the phone icon
4. Click 'Transfer'
