ArcGIS is a leading computer software platform for making, managing, and analyzing maps.
This software is available to all students and any faculty that teach with the software.
Instructions:
ArcGIS Online
Students can access ArcGIS Online by visiting https://delhi.maps.arcgis.com/ and logging in with their Delhi SSO account.
ArcGIS Pro
On Campus Devices
Students can access ArcGIS Pro in Bush 302, Resnick Library, or via a virtual machine from off campus: https://vdi.delhi.edu
Install on your computer
- Login to https://delhi.maps.arcgis.com/ with your Delhi SSO account.
- Click your name on the top right of the screen, then click My settings
- Click Licenses on the left
- Scroll down to ArcGIS Pro Advanced
- Click Download
- Proceed with installing ArcGIS.
- When ArcGIS is launched for the first time you will be presented with this screen:
- Click on Your ArcGIS organization's URL
- Enter delhi
- Click Continue
- You can now click on SUNY Delhi and you will be directed to the SSO screen to login
