Description:

You don't need to rely on a "personal meeting link" in order to contact someone quickly via Teams. You can simply call that person directly or they can call you. There are options for video and audio calls.

Instructions:

Different methods to reach someone on Teams include:

From a Chat: Open the Chat tab, select your conversation (or search for user & select from list), and click the video or audio call icon in the top-right corner.

From a Profile Picture: Hover over any contact's picture and click the audio or video call icon on their contact card.

Using the Calls Tab: Navigate to the Calls tab on the left menu, search for a coworker by name, Chat will open, click the video or audio call icon in the top-right corner.
or use the dial pad for external phone numbers.

Using the Command Bar: Type /call in the top search bar, press Enter, and type or select the name of the person you want to reach.
