Teams - Meet - Recordings - Start, stop, and find meeting recordings

Body

Description:

Start, stop, and find meeting recordings in Microsoft Teams

Instructions:

Teams recordings are stored in the meeting owner's OneDrive: Open OneDrive, click on "My Files" and open the Recordings folder.

  • Meetings are stored for 120 days by default before they are automatically deleted. There is a 30 day grace period to recover them from the recycle bin.
  • Recordings stored in an employee's OneDrive will be deleted if that employee stops working for the College.
  • Recordings that need to be available for long term viewing should be moved to Sharepoint, where they will remain even if the owner stops working for the college.
Recordings stored on Sharepoint will be available to those members of the team whose Sharepoint they are located in.
  • To remove or extend a recording's expiration date, open the recording in OneDrive, click the expiration time below the video, then select an option.
