WiFi - Apple Private WiFi MAC Address - Disable

Summary

iPhone, iPad and iTouch not connecting to WiFi - this step is required if iOS is under version 18!

Description:

iPhone & iPad with iOS version older than 18 MUST complete this step to be able to connect to Campus WiFi

Instructions:

  1. Open Settings
  2. Click Wi-Fi
  3. Tap the information button  next to DELHI-SECURE
  4. Tap slider to turn Private Address OFF (it should NOT be green).

This is NOT required at this point for MacBooks and iMacs, only mobile devices with iOS older than version 18.

iOS 18+ can NOT be on 'Rotating' for Private Wi-Fi

  1. Follow steps 1-3 above
  2. Click Private Wi-Fi Address
    1. Off - Good to select
    2. Fixed - Good to select - Preferred (this is default setting also)
    3. Rotating - Will NOT work if selected
