SharePoint - SharePoint files in File Explorer via Sync

Body

Description:

You can sync your Microsoft SharePoint files to a folder on your computer.

What this is good for:
  • Bulk file uploads
  • Easy drag and drop for frequent sharing
  • This lets you work directly in File Explorer and access files even when you're offline. And when you go back online, any changes made to those files will sync automatically.

What this is not good for:

  • Regular use for opening and editing files.
    • Why? Because it locks the document for editing from others vs the wonderful feature of multiple people can work on a document at the same time if opened from SharePoint online.
