WiFi - Connect to DELHI-OPEN

Description:

Campus visitors can use the DELHI-OPEN Wi-Fi network to access the internet. This includes students’ family members and friends, guest speakers, conference attendees, and other visitors. 

No Account:

1. Connect your laptop, smartphone, or tablet to the DELHI-OPEN Wi-Fi network
2. Your device should automatically open a sign-in page that asks for a username and password
   
3. Click Don’t have an account? to create one
4. Fill in the registration form. Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required.
   
5. Click Yes, Sign Me Up!
6. You will receive your username and password in text and email. 
7. Enter your username and password
8. Click Sign On
9. Read the Usage Policy, click Accept
10. Click Continue to connect to the network
11. You should now have internet access

I have an account:

1. Connect your laptop, smartphone, or tablet to the DELHI-OPEN Wi-Fi network
2. Your device should automatically open a sign-in page that asks for a username and password
3. Enter the username and password
4. Click Sign On
5. Click Continue to connect to the network
6. You should now have internet access

Troubleshooting:

Every time I move to an new area I have to login again. 

Disable the Randomize MAC feature in your device's Wi-Fi setting.

Once you configure your device to use its hardware MAC address our network will remember it and you won't need to login as often.

One of my devices lost its connection. 

You can connect up to three devices at a time through a self-registered account. If you connect a fourth device, the first device you connected may lose its connection. 

If you leave the Wi-Fi coverage area, your session may time out. To reconnect, follow the steps above of you already have an account. 

The sign-in page shows an authentication error. 

Visitor accounts are valid for seven days. After your account expires, you will need to create a new one. 

I signed in, but I cannot access the Internet. 

Try refreshing the success page  or opening a new browser window. 

I also need to sign in to a campus computer. 

Ask a faculty or staff member to submit a request for a temporary guest account.
